Vaginal Vault Prolapse

Vaginal vault prolapse is a higher risk to those who have had hysterectomy than those who haven’t had a hysterectomy.

Due to the removal of the uterus there is reduced support and therefore the top portion of the vagina decends (prolapses) into the the lower part of the vagina.

If you think you are experiencing a pelvic organ prolpase, download and print the pelvic organ diary. Fill this in and show your physician.
